Claire and Colin’s engagement session at the iconic Utica Train Station (also known as Union Station) in Utica, New York was nothing short of magical—despite the spring monsoon we've all been battling this year! We found a sweet little patch of time when the skies calmed down just enough to get some stunning shots. The rain gave way to soft, moody light and we even found some spring blossoms blooming around one of my all-time favorite Central New York engagement photo locations. With its indoor-outdoor charm and beautiful architecture, Utica Train Station is a dream for engagement or wedding photos—especially if you're facing unpredictable weather. Claire and Colin were such a joy to photograph—full of laughter, love, and so much personality. From giggles to quiet moments, their chemistry was undeniable, and their fun-loving spirits made the entire shoot a blast. To top it all off, we wrapped up their session with something a little extra special: I pulled out a bubble gun I borrowed from my two-year-old son, and we ended the session with them twirling and laughing through a stream of bubbles. Because honestly—bubbles make everything more magical, don’t they?
