I learned ALOT in 2019!
Every year at the start of the year I choose a word that I will focus on for that entire year. Just one single word. I find it easier to focus on a word rather than a laundry list of resolutions I want to accomplish.
My word for 2018 was Fearless.
2019- Growth
And my word for 2020 will be balance.
This year I strive to find a better work/life balance! I've learned how much I can handle this year and how much is too much. I've learned to stop striving for "perfection" and to instead strive for my personal best. I've learned to stop being so hard on myself (although I'm still working on that) and to step away from the computer and take a break (again still working on that). Building my business from the ground up has turned me into somewhat of a workaholic and this coming year I will definitely make more time for ME, so that I can be at my best when it's time to work on my business!
I am SO forever thankful and humbled by all of my clients that I've been able to work with this year. I shot 33 weddings and a whopping 73 other shoots on top of that! When I'm in the thick of busy season, I don't even realize how much many sessions I'm doing, but when I step back and reflect at the end of the year, it truly amazes me!
I am so looking forward to a new year of learning, growth and BALANCE in 2020. Happy New Year to you all!
