Thank You 2016

As I say goodbye to 2016 and reminisce about the past year, I can't help but smile and see how very blessed I've been this year. Not only have I found success in my business but I've found much happiness in my personal life as well. Now this is not a post to brag, but rather a post to give thanks, to everyone who has contributed to my life (even in the smallest way) over the past year.

To my senior models, who I was blessed to do many styled shoots with, thank you for being your sweet beautiful selves and trusting me on some of my craziest ideas. To the many talented makeup artists and hair stylists that I've had the opportunity to work with (Clair Cioch and Jammie Sue Irizarry, just to name a few), thank you for doing what you do so effortlessly and making my visions come to life. To all of my wonderful clients that I've had the opportunity to get to know behind the lens, thank you for being you and allowing me to do what I love. To the education I've received, from participating in the Spring Cohort at the Thincubator and completing the "Entrepreneur's Boot Camp" at the Women's Business Center of New York State, thank you for supporting my ideas (no matter how crazy some of them may have been) and encouraging me to keep persevering on even when times seemed dark and hopeless. To all of the students who attended the West Canada Valley & New York Mills proms that I had the pleasure of photographing and to all of the Kuyahoora Cougar Athletes, thank you for reminding me why I love what I do. To my fiancé, thank you for asking me to spend the rest of my life with you and for making me the happiest girl alive every single day. Thank you for all of the adventures we've gone on this year, from NYC (twice!), Corning, Old Forge, Lake George, and Schenectady just to name a few. To all of my friends and family, thank you for all the laughs, the memories and good times. To everyone who congratulated Jeremy and I on our engagement, thank you for making this special time even more of a special and exciting time for us. To my mother and grandmother, thank you for taking me on many "girls day" trips, from Massachusetts, Beardsley Castle Mystery Dinner (what a disaster that was lol!), a tea party in Skeaneatles, and dinner shows at the Stanley, it's never a dull moment when the three of us are together.

So, as 2016 wraps up, all I can do is say thanks, because I don't say it enough and I have so much to be thankful for!

What are you thankful for in 2016?
