When Shannon and Brandon told me they wanted to do something out of the "norm" for their engagement session... I was here. for. it.! We started off at Shannon's family camp on 4th Lake in Old Forge, NY. I jump on any opportunity I get to shoot in Old Forge because it's one of my favorite places on the planet!
Then Shannon suggested on going to a retro movie theater in the town of Old Forge, The Strand. I was like ummmm HELL YES! Anyone who knows me well knows I am slightly obsessed with anything retro/vintage. So this was righttt up my alley. I've driven past The Strand many times on my ventures through Old Forge but I never actually went inside. Well, let me tell you, if you've never been inside, you need to take a trip there... like now! Their collection of vintage cameras covering entire walls from floor to ceiling was enough to make me dizzy with delight. What is sweeter than a retro movie date with your hubby-to-be... ummm nothing!
Fun fact- Shannon & Brandon ELOPED on the beach in California about a week after these photos were taken! So congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Griffith, wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!
