Should I have one photographer or two for my wedding day?
A second photographer is recommended if you're aiming to emphasize the photojournalistic element of your wedding day. What's great about a second photographer is that they can capture special moments from different angles than the lead photographer (first kiss, bride walking down the isle, the grooms reaction when he first sees his bride, first dances, eat.) They are also able to get photographs of the groom and groomsmen getting ready in the morning, while the lead photographer will be getting photographs of the bride and bridesmaids getting ready (since one person can't be in two places at once) It's also recommended if you are having a large number of wedding guests. That way, the second photographer can provide coverage of your guests mingling at the cocktail hour while the lead photographer works with the bride/groom, family, and wedding party for portraits. Two photographers can work together to achieve excellent coverage of your entire day!
Do you touch up all of the images delivered in our online digital gallery?
Yes I do. Every image I deliver is post processed with my unique signature style of post production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, clarity adjustments, and other corrections. Some photographers ill not post process any images, or will only post process "select" images from your wedding. This means that you may have pictures that are too dark, have strange skin tones or other common photography flaws, but I like to ensure that the quality is consistent with each photograph.
Do we get the "copyright" of our images?
Copyright is something that I get asked about often. Many photographer's include a "print release" in their contracts which basically means that you have the right to print your photographs by yourself or at any lab that you choose. This is not the same thing as a copyright! A copyright simply means that I am the creator of the images and I "own" the copyright. I do not sell or give away copyrights to any images but you will receive high resolution digital copies of all of your wedding photos to print your images as much as you would like!
