Meet Rebecca

The lady behind the lens...

Hi friends!  I was originally drawn to photography because of my love of fashion and beauty.  Growing up, I wanted to be a fashion designer.  I would watch Project Runway and America's Next Top Model re-runs for hours and dream of going to Fashion School.  My mom noticed my interest in fashion and decided to get me sewing lessons with a local seamstress one year for a present.  I HATED sewing!  I kept getting the sewing machine jammed up and pricking my fingers with the needle... it was NOT for me!  So my dream of fashion was put on the back burner.  That is until I picked up a camera.... It was my senior year of high school and I started dressing my friends up to do "fashion" photoshoots.  I instantly fell in love!

Photography became my creative outlet and a way to bridge the gap with my love of fashion.  I loved it so much that I decided to go to college for it!  After college, I started photographing anything and everything until 2017 when I narrowed down my niche to weddings, engagements and boudoir and left my 9-5 office job to go full time with my photography business.  It was the best leap of faith that I ever made!

I'm a lover of all things vintage fashion.  I have a large collection of antiques, vintage furniture, vintage clothing, vintage jewelry and vintage accessories in my studio that keeps growing every year (don't tell my husband!).  I believe that pearls are the perfect accessory and every day is an excuse to wear red lipstick!

My photography style is Bold, Timeless, and Elegant.  I love using vibrant and true-to-life colors in my photographs.  Photography is not just a job for me, it's a passion and a way of life.  I can't imagine my life without it!

Since 2017, when I went full time with my business, I have had the honor of photographing over 100 weddings!  I love photographing weddings, because what is more glamorous and fashionable than a bride and groom on their wedding day!  I love the excitement of the day.... the bride getting dolled up on the morning of her wedding like a movie star, styling all of the pretty details, the groom looking dapper anxiously awaiting his bride, laughing and joking with the wedding party, and the emotional candid moments that make me tear up behind my lens... Those are the moments that I live for!

I'm in Love

Meet my husband Jeremy...

My career in photography has brought me many amazing experiences, connections, and memories in life... but I never expected it to bring me to the love of my life!

I met my husband Jeremy at a wedding (go figure)!  It was the first wedding that I EVER photographed.  I wanted to try out wedding photography, to see if it was something I wanted to pursue, so I asked one of my friends if I could tag along at one of their weddings they were photographing.  I met the wedding band at the reception and thought the drummer was pretty cute (Who can resist the drummer in a band, right?).  We were seated at the same table for dinner and had a great conversation.  Little did I know, that drummer would one day be my husband!

We got married on September 29th, 2018 at The Cannery in Vernon, NY.

Jeremy truly brings out the best in me and I am proud to be his wife every single day.  We still support each others passions that brought us to each other.  I am so glad that I followed my dream of photography, because it led me straight to the man of my dreams!
